Celebri-T-Shirt Design Competition goes Gaga
01 July 2010
A Lady Gaga inspired design was voted as the winning
entry in our Celebri-T-Shirt design competition. Designed by a
local resident , Paul Attwood, the T-Shirt won as a result of
voting by shoppers which took place in early June.
Edgware shoppers were inspired with the celebrity look-a-likes
which visited The Broadwalk Centre last year, from which a
competition was created. The opportunity was given to all
budding designers to come up with a T-Shirt design for their
favourite celebrity.
The short listed twenty six designs were displayed in the Centre
so that the shoppers could cast their votes. "We received 386
votes in total, of which Paul's design came out on top", said
Angela Brooks, Centre Manager at The Broadwalk Centre. Angela
continued, "as Lady Gaga once said, you have to be unique, and
different and shine in your own way, and that's what Paul's design
has done".
Paul is aged thirty four and lives in Edgware. He studied
design at Middlesex University and currently works at Hills
Components in Watford. Paul is really looking forward to
seeing his design sold at one of The Broadwalk Centre shops.
"Seeing my design in print and on clothes rails is the real prize
for me" said an enthused Paul.
"We have now confirmed with Krisp Clothing Co. to sell the
T-Shirts from early August. Let's hope it proves a hit with the
shoppers", concluded Angela.
