Ice Creations at The Broadwalk
Shoppers were treated to performances by top entertainers and
International festival acts as part of our 12 Days of Christmas
entertainment.
On Friday 17th December there was comedy juggling
with Johnny Slap. Things got a little frosty on Saturday
18th when shoppers can see before their eyes, the
creation of a polar bear from a single block of ice (see
picture!).
The entertainment continued on Sunday 19th when a
cheeky elf took Santa for a ride around the Centre. On Monday
20th the Electroglide Angels performed at 11.30am, 1pm
and 2.30pm.
The kids loved the fun filled Christmas party on Tuesday
21st with Bjorn the Polar Bear, with his
blinking eyes, sniffling nose, opening mouth and live sounds who
performed at 12noon and 2pm. Bjorn was incredibly
lifelike and performed in an inflatable ice sculpture, his
unforgettable shows amazed shoppers of all ages. Father
Christmas and Frosty the Snowman and Perrier Award Winner Mr Crimbo
also kept shoppers amused throughout the day.
Festive madness continued with Mad Dom mixing and mingling on
Wednesday 22nd and balloon modelling with Professor
Crump on Thursday 23rd, the 12 days of Christmas ended
in style on Christmas Eve when a cheeky elf taking Rudolph for a
ride around the Centre and a final opportunity to see Father
Christmas before Rudolf whisked him off for his very important job
that night!
